We Care Front
Volunteer Coordination Website

The Challenge
Volunteer programs often rely on scattered information across social media posts, group chats, and shared documents. For newcomers trying to understand what We Care Front does, what help is needed, and how to get involved, the fragmented information created a significant barrier to entry. Potential volunteers would see a post, get interested, then lose momentum trying to find details or figure out how to sign up.
We needed a website that served as the single authoritative source of information about the initiative — one that communicated trust and legitimacy, worked flawlessly on mobile devices where most discovery happens via social media links, and made the path from landing to sign-up as short and frictionless as possible.
Our Solution
We built a clean, mobile-first website using Next.js with TypeScript and Tailwind CSS. The information architecture was designed around a clear narrative flow: what the initiative is, how it works, what opportunities are available, and how to get involved — each section leading naturally to the next with prominent call-to-action elements at every decision point.
The contact and sign-up forms use React Hook Form for state management with client-side validation that provides immediate feedback without full page reloads. Form submissions are handled through Resend for transactional email delivery — confirmation emails to volunteers and notification emails to coordinators are sent automatically, eliminating the manual follow-up process that was causing volunteer leads to go cold.
We integrated Google Analytics and Hotjar for conversion tracking and user behavior analysis. Hotjar's session recordings and heatmaps provided the team with actionable insights about which sections of the site drive the most engagement and where users drop off, allowing continuous optimization of the volunteer acquisition funnel.
The site is deployed on Vercel with Cloudflare DNS, providing edge caching and fast global delivery. The page templates are structured for easy expansion — as the initiative grows and adds new volunteer programs, coordinators can request new pages that follow the established design patterns without starting from scratch each time.
