Rocky Soft Inc. (“Rocky Soft”, “we” or “us”) is a software development company. We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website.

Information you send us
Our website has two contact forms: a short form on the home page and a detailed project form on our contact page. Depending on the form you use, we ask for:
- Your name and email address
- Your phone number and company name (both optional)
- Your project type, budget range and timeline
- The services you are interested in
- Your message
When you submit a form, our website sends these details by email to our business inbox, which is hosted by Zoho Mail. The website itself does not save a separate copy of your enquiry.
To protect our forms from spam, our server also uses your IP address to limit repeated submissions. It is held temporarily in the server's memory and is not included in the email.
Our website is hosted on Amazon Web Services, which may keep standard server logs of requests, including IP addresses, for security and operations.
Campaign information
If you reach our website from one of our ads or from a link we have tagged, the web address can include campaign details. Our website keeps:
- Campaign tags (UTM parameters), such as the source, medium, campaign, term and content of the ad or link
- Google Ads click identifiers (gclid, gbraid and wbraid)
- The path of the page you landed on, such as /contact
These details are kept in your browser's session storage, for that tab only, and are used for up to 24 hours. Your browser normally clears session storage when you close the tab, and our code stops using the details once 24 hours have passed. If you send us an enquiry during that time, the details are included in the email so we know which campaign it came from.
Our code does not store this information in cookies or local storage, and does not add it to the events we send to Google Analytics.
Analytics and ad measurement
We use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google, to understand how people use our website. Google Analytics uses cookies to measure page visits and how visitors arrived, such as the ad or link they followed.
Our website also sends Google Analytics a few specific events:
- A successful enquiry, with the form type (quick or detailed), budget range and project type only. A detailed enquiry whose selected budget fits our starting prices (CA$5,000 for websites, CA$15,000 for other projects) also sends a second “qualified enquiry” event with the same details. We never send your name, email address, phone number, company or message.
- A click on a button to book a meeting, and a completed meeting booking, labelled with the part of the site where you started.
We use this information, and import these events into Google Ads, to measure which ads bring us enquiries. Google Analytics personalized advertising features (remarketing) are currently turned off. Event-level Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.

Meeting scheduling
If you book a meeting with us, scheduling is handled by Calendly. Calendly's booking window loads only when you interact with one of our booking buttons. The details you enter when booking are collected by Calendly under Calendly's own privacy policy, and Calendly shares your booking with us so we can meet with you.
Our website records that a booking was completed, as described above, but does not send your booking details to Google Analytics.

- To protect our forms from spam and abuse
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Some of the service providers named on this page, including Google and Calendly, may process and store information outside Canada, including in the United States. Information held outside Canada may be accessed by the courts and authorities of that country.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry emails only as long as we need them to respond to you, manage our business relationship with you, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Campaign details in your browser are used for no more than 24 hours, and event-level Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months, as described above.
Your choices and rights
- Access and correction. You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it.
- Withdraw consent. You can withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual restrictions.
- Opt out of Google Analytics. Install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies in your browser limits what Google Analytics can store on your device, but it does not stop Google Analytics from receiving page visits.
- Clear campaign details. Close the browser tab, or clear this site's data in your browser.
